DROUGHTS

• A drought is a long term period when little or no rain falls
• droughts dry up the fertile land                                                           

 OVERGRAZING

• Farmers destroy a lot of land to graze
• They do this even though they are soon to move every 2 to 3 years

 OVER-FARMING

• Farmers plant to many crops in an area of land
• The land that they usually farm on isn't fertile enough to handle the plants

DEFORESTATION

• Cutting down trees is a quick way to get money in Africa due to the rainforests
• People strip down all the plants and leaving the soil bare and unprotected from soil erosion
